HBCU College Tour (Juniors & Seniors only)

HBCU college tours provide African American students, parents, teachers, and counselors with the unique opportunity to visit multiple college campuses in a single trip. It will give students a solid understanding of the history, culture, and traditions that have shaped the schools’ collective legacy, and a framework for comparison that will help them choose the right HBCU. Dates coming soon.

 

Founder

Veronica Watkins is the Founder & CEO of Sista’s of Royalty, Inc. aka SOR. She is a native of Jackson, Mississippi, wife, and mother of 3. 

Previously, she served as a Program Director for a residential facility that housed at risk teen girls, Residential Program Supervisor for adult men with mental disabilities, Program Coordinator for Behavioral Health & Psychological Services, and a Respite Houseparent for at risk children and teens. Her desire to help and serve others helped birth SOR.
 
In addition, Veronica is a board member for Fight For Life Foundation, Inc., Madison County Animal Protection League, and she works closely with Catch the Star’s Foundation, Inc.
